Is flirting bad ????????

I have a lot of friends and most of them are girls and when it comes to flirting they say i flirt too much and i agree with them but it has become a habit.Also my girl friend thanks that its not a problem but i can tell deep down that she is sad that i do it so yes i guess it is bad to flirt too much but its hard to stop flirting i dont know what to do.
But on the other side i know that i am just trying to get attention and stuff but when i do it i am usually just playing around or just tickling someone and they don't see it from my point of view and some people get mad at me because they say that i cant talk to another girl or evan look or come near a girl but they don't understand that if she is my friend i am not just going to ignore her so I just say you know what if you have a problem then you should just break up with me or mind your own .
So there is two sides of the story one is thinking it dosent matter you are just friends and one thinks that its the worst thing you can possibly do now some people really don't mind and your just like cool witch side is right that's up to you but just remember one thing that people can't change who you want to be.
